FAQ

System panel, also known as "engineered wood panels," are made from shredded wood particles bonded together with adhesive, then formed under high temperature and pressure. They are laminated with melamine for scratch and water resistance, and sealed with edge banding for added moisture protection and aesthetic appeal.

Most system panels in the market are imported due to a lack of domestic manufacturing capabilities for the "core material." Jiufeng uses system panels from the European brand Kaindl and some locally laminated panels.

*Kaindl: An Austrian brand with over a century of expertise, known as one of the top three global composite panel manufacturers.

*Taiwan Laminated Panels: System panels made by Taiwanese manufacturers using imported core material and surface paper from Europe.

Jiufeng uses European-imported panels that are low in formaldehyde, eco-friendly, moisture-resistant, and meet E0, E1, and V313 standards.

Jiufeng uses E0 and E1 grade panels, with E0 having nearly zero formaldehyde (about 0.02 ppm), and complies with Taiwan's CSN2215 standard for a safer home environment.

V313 measures moisture resistance and expansion. Panels tested for immersion, freezing, and high heat with less than 6% thickness expansion are V313, indicating low water absorption and excellent moisture resistance, suitable for Taiwan's climate.
